Winning people over with words - I found that exciting even as the editor-in-chief of a school newspaper and a young local politician. After graduating with a degree in business administration, this early passion has grown into some 25 years of professional experience in communications: from press spokesman for a regional company in northern Germany to a senior position in the election campaign of a former federal minister to head of communications for a DAX-listed corporation with operations in many European countries. 

 

Simply convince - for me, the emphasis is on both words. In politics as in business. Clear words and understandable language are a must. But that is not enough. What is truly convincing is something that not only appeals to the intellect, but also reaches people emotionally. Where do they stand, what moves them, what is important to them? The answers to these questions are the key to successful communication.
